SNOW INSTALLS
Mr. Deuce and a half, ready to go out
In the winter, we can sometimes use the special machines we have to install in the snow.
We have our own 1972 american general 2½ ton army truck! This "super service truck" will deliver our tractors and tools to the job in almost any weather condition.
removing the snow blanket
My custom-designed, four-wheel drive tractors will negotiate almost any winter conditions once we get to the job. The tractors all have special, detachable plow blades with rollers on the bottom so they resist damaging the lawn.
Burying and closing the trench at the same time
If the ground is not frozen too far down, we can usually break through and bury five to seven inches deep. The tractors can hammer through two to three inches of frost.
Drilling under driveways is not affected by frozen ground.
We have always been able to drill under driveways or sidewalks, year round.

What should I call this new thing?
Against the background of the winter snow, red flags are used to show the dog his or her new boundaries.
This can be a problem in frozen soil. The flags, if you can get them to stick in, don't stay up for very long. If they fall or blow away, the training can be weakened, or lost.
We use a new tool I designed for opening a hole in the frozen ground. - it makes flag placement fast and easy. Just stick the bar into any frozen soil and it makes a neat hole just deep enough
for the flags to go into.
No more falling flags when Mother Nature turns the heat up! No more flags blowing away when the cold wind blows!
